We held our daughter Stephanie’s wedding on July 1st at the Glendale and wanted to commend you all on the wonderful location and to thank you for allowing us to hold our special occasion there.

From beginning to end, we had the most relaxing, pleasant experience, and although much overdue, I wanted to still take the time to extend the highest compliments to your wedding planner/organizer of events, Stacey Nutt.

Stacey made our experience so easy that we still look back and think “wow!!”  She gave us great advice on the food menu, even calling in one of the chef’s to help us with our choices. She was always available to answer any little question or concern we had.

She took us on a couple of tours as the grooms parents wanted to view the facility.  She recommended wise choices on the midnight lunch and allowed us the maximum of time possible to confirm our numbers.

The day before and the day of the reception we dropped off items, checked out where everything would go and explained to her where we wanted this and that placed.  She provided excellent advice on the layout of the head table, dinner, guest book table, projector etc. The entire set up and decorating was efficiently handled and we did not have to worry about a single thing, Tracy saw to it all, down to the smallest detail.

The staff was excellent…friendly, consistent, attentive while being as unobtrusive as possible.  Any little detail that needed attending, we only had to mention to Tracy or one of the staff and it was taken care of at once.

Everyone raved about the food.  We have attended 3 weddings since then and although very nice, the banquet provided was no where near the quality and selection provided by the Glendale…our thank you’s to the chef and kitchen staff as well. 

We felt that we had received excellent value for our money, and have absolutely no regrets about the cost or our choice.  (thanks to the clean up staff who allowed my husband and myself to pack a little doggie bag from the leftover midnight lunch to eat in our car on the way home…we had no opportunity for a break and a bite to eat, with all of our obligations as hosts)

The new room was beautiful and Stacey was right in that it needed little embellishment to make it classy and beautiful.

We would unreservedly recommend your facility, wedding organizer, and banquet (especially the desserts..second to none!) to anyone who was looking for this type of accommodation for a special event.

I would very much appreciate you passing on compliments to Stacey, Chef Ariel and the staff.  We are very fortunate to have such great staff. We were out to the club last night for Mother’s Day and we sat on the lounge side and just ordered off the menu.  There was a ton of people there still and the numbers for the day that Stacy mentioned were amazing.  Notwithstanding the staff was flat out with the buffet guests (and were all visibly tired) we were well taken care of by Ashley and Lindsay and the food was outstanding.  The pesto pasta dish was simply amazing(we took an extra order for Alex’s lunches) and the steak sandwich was equally outstanding (Carlos Cabral took a steak home for his bride(Portuguese Mother’s Day).  It is going to be a very good year.  Nice to see all the hard work pay off.  Congratulations again on the award as Canada’s Golf Course Manager of the Year

This was my first time organizing the event myself and both Stacey and Greg made my tournament a fantastic event. Thank you so much to you and the staff of the Glendale.  We had a wonderful day and you and the staff were so friendly and accommodating.  The tables were decorated with the same care as we would have used. All our guests remarked upon the quality and preparation of the food. I’m forwarding this email to express how delighted my family and I are after our first year of membership at the Glendale.  As a new member family were expecting to have to be around for a couple of years until we began to feel comfortable and “at home” at the club.  I can tell you first hand within the first couple of months we felt as though we’d been members for years.  Your personal welcoming attitude and effort to say hello whether I was playing golf or bringing my family in for dinner is very much appreciated.

We noticed how quickly the service staff and pro shop group not only learned our faces and names but also really made efforts to become familiar with who we were, what we liked, etc.  Greg and his group were a pleasure to deal with in the pro shop and the gang in the club storage were always friendly and quick to consol me after I complained about my “questionable” rounds. Amber always made an effort to say hi and her serving group made coming to the club house for breakfast, lunch, dinner etc a real pleasure.  My wife and kids loved the pool and overall we found the food exceptional on a regular basis (our compliments to Chef Ariel).

Being exposed to golf course management through my company, it was great to see Daryl’s gang on the course grooming, fixing, maintaining and improving on a regular basis.  Dealing with Bruce on the accounting set up has been easy and accommodating. I’m very excited about the future capital improvements to the course and the club.

I wanted to pass this onto you to thank you and the entire staff for your efforts.  It is definitely noticed and appreciated. I’m often asked by my friends and business associates how my first year at The Glendale went, and I’m quick to express my above comments.
