Junior Elite Lessons:  Bringing back what we have offered in the past, we will have weekly group lessons on Tuesday evenings offered by Adam Bruce and Kasey Timms. Starting May 8 and running until July 25, there will be 12 group lessons beginning at 6:00 and running for two hours. These lessons will focus on improving golf skills, on course management, and the mental side of golf. The juniors will also have access to four private 30 minute lessons at their discretion. We will be limiting this group to the first eight juniors that sign up. The total cost will be $800.

Golf & Swim Camps:  Week-long Camp with golf in the morning, lunch, and swimming, games and activities in the afternoon. The  Camp will entail all facets of the game - putting, chipping, irons, and driving. We will also play Dragons Head GC on one of the days. Camp #1 is July 9 – 13 and Camp #2 is Aug 13 – 17. The price is $350 + gst, which includes a lunch each day.
Glendale competes in the Edmonton Private Club Junior Interclub. Qualifying dates are May 26-27.  Juniors can play one or two days, with only your best score counting towards qualification. The top 5 players will be chosen, with the rest being spares. The dates are June 10 (Petroleum Club), June 16 (HIghlands) and the Wrap-Up on July 8 (Derrick).
Every Friday morning beginning on June 29. There will be a different weekly game, with league points being awarded each week. Tee times will begin at 8:00am. Players are welcome to continue and play 18 holes. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the year.  For the Jr-Juniors, we will be setting out our “Mini-Dale” tees once again this year. All holes range between 82 and 212 yards. These juniors are encouraged to play as many or as few holes as they wish. With parent supervision, members aged 5+ are welcome to play!
This year we will be bringing back the Road Trip after being rained out in 2017. On July 23 we will be headed to Cougar Creek. We will play 18 holes at 12:30 with a meal and prizes to follow.
The private courses will be participating in DCP this year. We will host a Glendale Qualifier on July 27, where Juniors can compete to participate in the Finals at Royal Mayfair on August 11. Age categories are 7-9, 10-11, 12-13 and 14-15.
We encourage all of our juniors that are able to play 9 holes to be involved in our Match Play Championship. We have two events: 9-Hole Competition Bracket and an 18-Hole Competition Bracket.
Juniors are encouraged to keep track of their 18-hole scores, and update the lowest number scored on each hole. This will allow juniors to see how low they can possibly go at the Glendale. It will be found of the Junior Board.
Boys and girls will have their champions crowned in this two day event held on August 9 and 10. Boys have two ages categories, 12+ and 11 & Under. Skill prizes will be awarded, and there will be food and a pool party to follow the second round.
Once a year this fun yet competitive event is held, during which golfers may play with their parents. This will take place on August 19 and will be an afternoon shotgun. Sign-up sheets will go up in the Lower Foyer approximately two weeks prior to the event.
