Meet The Pros

Greg McGarry (PGA of Canada Head Professional)
Greg enters his 14th year as Head Professional at the Glendale as the 2017 PGA of Alberta "Club Professional of the Year". This award is the highest honour bestowed upon Head Professionals in the Alberta Zone. A Class ‘A’ member of the PGA of Canada, Greg has been a Golf Professional for 24 years. He has attained his fitting certification for Ping, Taylor Made, Titleist and Callaway golf equipment. A strong player, Greg won the PGA of Alberta Club Professional Championship in 2005 and 2006, the PGA of Alberta Assistant's Championship in 2001, and has competed on both the Nationwide Tour and Canadian Tour.  A graduate of St.Mary’s University in Halifax, Greg holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Marketing.

Adam Bruce (PGA of Canada Assistant Professional)
A seventh year Glendale Professional Staffer, 2018 marks Adam’s fifth as a member of the PGA of Canada. Adam is a graduate of the Professional Golf Management Program at MacEwan University. In his time at MacEwan, Adam was a member of the Men’s Golf Team. Adam’s biggest accomplishment in golf was being named MacEwan University’s Male Athlete of the Year in 2012! He was also named ACAC Player of the Year in 2012 and 2013. Professionally, Adam won the PGA of Alberta Championship in 2017, won a PGA of Alberta Pro Series event at the Cardiff GC in 2016, the Nike PGA Team Championship of Alberta in 2015, and had a top-5 finish at the 2014 PGA of Canada Assistants Championship. In 2016, Adam also competed with the best young players in the world at the Oil Country Championship, a PGA TOUR Canada event. Adam is looking forward to another year assisting Glendale members with their game.


Chris Pacholok (PGA of Canada Associate Professional)
This marks Chris's fifth year both at the Glendale and as a Class "A" Associate Professional with the PGA of Canada, and his ninth year as a Golf Professional. Chris hails from the small town of Athabasca where he learned the game, later moving to Edmonton to pursue an education. He attended MacEwen University taking the Professional Golf Management program and played on the Men's Golf Team. Upon graduation he worked three years at the Royal Mayfair Golf Club before moving to the Glendale. Chris is certified in the PGA of Canada's Teaching and Coaching Levels I and II. Chris's professional highlight came in 2013 when he won a PGA of Alberta Pro Series event at the Devon GC. Chris prides himself on his golf knowledge and is always willing and eager to help the members of the Glendale improve their game. 


Kasey Timms (PGA of Canada Assistant Professional)
Kasey enters his first year at the Glendale after stints at the Highlands GC, Drayton Valley G&CC, and Banff Springs.  It is his fourth season as a PGA of Canada professional, and prior to that Kasey gained invaluable retail experience as a Manager at Golf Town. Originally from Ontario, Kasey studied Sports Management while on scholarship at Eastern Florida State College (Cocoa Beach, FL) before transferring to Belmont Abbey College (Charlotte, NC). His college career included two individual titles, an All-Conference team in the Southern region and All-American honours at the NJCAA National Championship (2005), and CVAC All-Conference team (2006, 2007). As a Professional, he won the 2016 PGA of Alberta Team Match Play and represented Team Alberta the same season at the PGA of Canada Assistant’s Championship. Kasey brings a vast knowledge and experience for today's golf technology and the fitting process. Kasey is excited to join the Glendale team and to help the membership with their game!
